I found this great idea on The Creative Crate. I really want to try to make this sign and for sure the jelly bean bracelet. What girl wouldn't love a bracelet that you can eat too???

Happy Birthday Wreath

I don't remember what blog I got this idea from but I just want to say that it wasn't my original idea. This Happy Birthday wreath is so fun and it was really easy to make.

These are the supplies you will need. I bought my wreath form and ribbons from the Dollar store. Total spent=$8.00. And I even had leftover ribbon that I made a Birthday Hairbow with. They have several different colors to choose from, I liked these the best.

Take the ribbons off the package and hot glue it on the wreath form (I tried a stapler first but they wouldn't stay). Add another ribbon on top of first one like a criss-cross.

Continue this pattern until wreath is full. For an extra touch I drew a little Happy Birthday tag and attached it with a mini-clothespin.

We will have this up whenever there is a birthday to celebrate. We have 2 coming up!!

4-H Stuffed Pet Show

We are still participating in 4-H this year and really enjoying it. This month they had a pet show and included those of the stuffed variety which is good because we don't have real pets. Each of the kids got ribbons for participating!!

I read this poem on one of my favorite blogs, Grace Violet.
It speaks a lot to me because I constantly am striving to live in the moment and find joy right now like my sweet mom always tells me. This was a great reminder today!

Easter Printables

We'll be coloring some of these today for our Easter craft to go with our Easter Countdown.

Play Kitchen Re-do

Before-I had already sanded off the lovely sunflowers.

After-Painted pink and spray painted the sink and knobs satin nickel. If found circle cutouts at the craft store and spray painted them black and glued them on for burners. I won't tell you how long it took me from start to finish (I like to procrastinate) but I'm glad it's done and the girls are excited to have their "new" kitchen back.

This countdown is great too and incorporates the spiritual meaning of Easter. This would be a great one to combine with the previous post.

Easter Countdown!

Another cute idea from the blog 1825

This is a really cute idea for those of us who love countdowns. Or for those of us whose kids won't stop asking us "when is Easter gonna be here"?

I have an addiction. It's called blog-aholic!! I LOVE to search blogs and I check them out everyday to find new craft ideas. So.. since I'm always finding great things I decided to start sharing them with my fellow bloggers ( those who still look at blogs and haven't abandoned us to facebook). Today I'm starting with Easter since it is only 2 weeks away.

I made these a few years ago and they are super easy. You could even add sprinkles to give them some Easter bling!! They would be a great treat for school or to add to your Easter egg hunt this year..

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Hope your day is LUCKY! The leprechauns visited us this morning and left green gum and suckers and hairbows. We ate Lucky Charms for breakfast so we could feel LUCKY! But we were late for school so not a good start to feeling LUCKY!

Fishin g with Daddy

Daddy has a love of fishing and wants to share that love with his girls. We went to a pond close by and he let the girls all use a pole. It was sweet to see him show them how and how different they all were.

Bryanna has been fishing with daddy and grandpa kirk before so she was a pro. She wanted to put on her own worm. Gracie was disgusted by it and couldn't even watch.

Gracie was good for about a minute and then had not patience for it. She is definately our girly girl!

Abby's pole outweighed her I think but she was a trooper for a little while. She was happy sitting with mommy on the blanket.

It was a beautiful day and it was nice to be together. I think Derek realized that some of us just aren't made for fishing and that's okay. At least one of his girls will go along!

St Patricks Day Party

St Patricks Day party at our house. We did crafts, had lunch and played like girls do. I forgot to take pictures of Bryanna and her friends but there were 4 of them running around screaming!!

Dr Suess Birthday

We celebrated Dr. Suess's birthday with a small party at our house. We attempted to make Cat in the Hat hats!! Read a story (part of it) watched a Dr. Seuss cartoon and had green eggs and ham. It was fun. Thanks Parker and Hannah for coming.
