We had some really nice warm days in May and we tried to take advantage of them by going on a couple hikes. You already heard about our "Secret Cove" hike earlier. Well we played this on safe by not going to the beach at all. This hike was in Washoe Valley, Deadmans Creek Trail. It was easy and short, and very pretty. Maggie was also with us, I need to be better about getting her in some of the pictures!
One of a few lizards we saw on our adventure.
One of the many desert flowers/plants we saw on our hike.
Daddy's girls. This was at the top of the hike. A little gazebo with a beautiful view of the Sierras and Washoe Lake.
THis bush was called Servicberry. It was my favorite desert flower we found.
Nothing like a shady place with a bench on a warm day
