Thankful-Day 4

Today I am grateful for my health. I have been blessed with a strong and healthy body that lets me do what I need to do for myself and my family.

P.S. I wish it was a little thinner body but we'll get there someday!!

Thankful- Day 1, 2, 3

Day 3- I am so thankful for my knowledge of Forever Families. It is such a blessing and comfort to know that after this life on earth I will be together forever with my family .

Day 2- So thankful for 3 healthy, beautiful children. I love being a mom and I love these girls so much. I want them to know how much they are loved and how special they are to us and to their Heavenly Father. I always want them to truly know that.

Day1-SO THANKFUL for a home to live in. It is such a blessing to have shelter from the world outside and I hope that our home can always be a safe haven, a place of love and protection.

I've seen this done on a few blogs and I decided I wanted to do it too. Everyday I'll post something I and/or my family is grateful for until Thanksgiving Day.
It's always a good thing to think about and be reminded of all the many blessings we have been given.

We drove a little over and hour to the pumpkin patch this year, and I was so glad we did. It was a good old pumpkin patch, not a carnival! We had a hay ride to the patch to pick our pumpkin off the vine. The girls had 2 rides on the cow train and we enjoyed some yummy pumpkin cookies.

Animal Ark

They were watching Gracie the bear taking a bath! It was the friendly side of bears.

We recently took a trip with our 4-H group to the Animal Ark in Reno. I wasn't expecting much but it was really neat and the kids had fun checking out all the "wild" animals.

School Pictures

It was school picture day today! That being said, I have a hard time spending money on school pictures because they are so expensive and you never know how they turn out and their packages just aren't that great. So there:)
I took the girls out in their chosen outfits this morning and took my own pictures. I am obviously not a professional but they are perfect for us and now I can get as many copies as I want for half the price!
I love this song...in so many ways it reminds me of my beautiful girls. I love them just the way they are and I hope they always know that!

We recently took a trip to Sacramento, CA for some shopping, eating and fairytale fun! I love that Sacramento is so close and has the big city attractions that we don't want to live in but like to visit:-) It was a fun and hot day (100 degrees) . I LOVE spending time together.
