Nine

Gracie is 9.  She has a strong spirit and has since she was born.  Gracie is a kind soul and has  a soft heart for those in need and with special needs.  She loves babies and wants to be a mommy when she grows up.  We call her our fashionista too.  She is into clothes and shoes....a girly girl for sure.
We love our Gracie and look forward to watching her grow up.
11 years ago I became a mom.  Bryanna changed our lives forever as did the next 2 girlies.  I really can't believe how fast the time goes.  She is such a good girl who is a good friend and always chooses the right.  She has a kind spirit and wants to serve others.

Bryanna is a cowgirl at heart and if she has her way she will have a ranch with lots of horses when she grows up.  She wants to go on a mission and attend BYU.  She has worthy goals and I know she will be able to accomplish all she dreams of.
We love our Bryanna and are excited to watch her continue to grow into a beautiful young woman.

On the way home

We stopped in Twin Falls, ID on the way back home.  Since it is a 16 hour drive to and from my parents, we stop to sleep on night.  We decided on Twin Falls because I really wanted to see Shoshone Falls.  It is normally really full with waterfalls but the water levels have been low this year.
It is still pretty awesome and beautiful.  The kids wanted to walk down to the water but unfortunately that's not possible.

My camera was on the end of this post and so this was a risky family shot!  I was hoping it wouldn't fall off down into the canyon.

Whenever we are close to a temple we like to stop.  This is the Twin Falls, ID temple.  All temple are a beautiful sight.

Our tradition KFC picnic lunch.  This year we lucked out and had BEAUTIFUL weather.  Usually it is freezing cold.  This park is where my Dad used to play as a kid.  It was fun to hear his stories of mischief.

Also a tradition is the Carousel and Dragon Park.

After our fun in Missoula we always stop for ice cream at the BIG Dipper.

Grandma and Grandpa's house

Abby's chalk creation.  Grandma and Grandpa have the best long driveway...lots of room for chalk art!
My parent's house.  It's in a culde sac and it's so quiet and peaceful.  It's nice to just hang out here for awhile.

Hike to the M

It's the M for University of Montana.  I have wanted to do it for years and I thought now my girls are old enough to do.  It's 3/4 mile straight up!  It was harder than I thought but we did it!

Abby is not looking forward to going back down.

Fish and Bird Feeders

Digging for worms in the garden
My parents live right by the Clark Fork River so we always go fishing when we're there.  It's so peaceful and relaxing and beautiful.

 Fishing with Grandpa
Sometimes sitting is better than standing when you are waiting on the fish

My first fish caught EVER!!  So exciting...although not a good picture of me.
My mom LOVES birds so I thought it would be fun to make some bird feeders for her.  The girls picked out pine cones from Grandma's yard then spread peanut butter on them and rolled them in seed.  They turned out really good and we got to see a few birds feasting on them while we were there.
