More Disneyland

Our Breakfast with the Princesses. So worth it!! The girls LOVED meeting the princesses and getting their autographs. Abby and Gracie even got a private moment with their "matching" princesses.

This blogging thing.....

Blogging just hasn't been a priority for me lately. I love to look at other blogs, just not post on my own. I really want my blog to be more meaningful and memorable so I'm thinking of different ways it make it that way. More to come, hopefully!!

WE just got back from Disneyland and I have A LOT of pictures ,but the computer is so slow and I just don't have patience to wait for them right now.
We had a lot of fun and we will remember it forever. We met my sister A and her family there and so we had 6 little girls and 4 adults in 2 hotel rooms side by side!! We made lots of memories and had a few meltdowns (adults included). Disneyland is a magical and exhilirating place and I would love to go back again when the kids are a little bit older. Pictures to come soon!

We are going to.....

This isn't the best picture. Bryanna is waving her hands excitidedly!!
DISNEYLAND!!!! How excited am I and the girls??? Very excited. I have never been to Disneyland and this is our first trip as a family so we are very happy to say we get to go to Disneyland. I planned a small scavenger hunt for the girls to find all the words to the phrase" We are going to DISNEYLAND!!" And then we gave them a Disney princess calendar and stickers to count down for the next few weeks. Even though it has been planned for a while we waited to tell them because they get so anxious and ask "how many sleeps until we go??" We are going with my sister and her family and it will be a blast for the girls. I can't wait to see their faces when we get there and they see all the magical things!! It will be a very memorable trip and I'm glad the girls get to share this with some of their cousins.

High School Musical 3

For those of you who have known me a long time and knew me when I was a New Kids On the Block fan back in the day, will not be surprised by this post. My girls (i mean I) are HUGE High School Musical fans and I may be a bigger fan than my girls!! HSM 3 came out today and I already had a little surprise planned for the girls. I woke up early today and ran to the store to pick it up and some HSM cereal too! This is the last "original" HSM so I wanted to do something fun for the girls. These movies and songs have given us some great memoires and I have to admit I don't mind seeing Zac Efron over and over again :) I think I've turned my girls into mini-me's when it comes to obsessions of famous people/things!! That's okay right?

These pictures were taken right after they woke up and put their HSM 3 shirts on!

A MOUSE!!!

WARNING: if you don't want to hear about the death of a mouse do not continue reading!

Just writing this post gives me the willies! Last night as we were watching The Bachelor, Derek jumped off the couch and started chasing something.....a MOUSE!!! AHHAHHHAHAHAHAH! The thought or sight of any rodent just totally creeps me out. I seriously thought I was going to have a panic attack! So Derek, the man that he is, was determined to catch the thing. He saw it go by the computer so he coerced it out of there and it ran over him (EWWW) and behind our bookshelf so we trapped it in there and coerced it out of there and it ran into the playroom. AHHHHHHHH! He shut the door in there and after a minute or so I hear a "GOT IT". I was so FREAKED OUT! He opens the door and tells me to get some pliers to pick it up but I didn't know where pliers were so I grabbed some homemade tongs (we use to get our toast out of the toaster) but they were'nt strong enough so he threw those out and I got one of those big binder clips and he clipped it's tail and we put it in a plastic bag. I guess he stomped on it with his shoe and broke it's leg. I had a really hard time calming down and going to bed last night. The girls were all sleeping during all of it, thank goodness and I was trying not to scream even though I really thought I was going to have a heart attack!! I just hope that little mousey was the only one. SO GROSS!!!

Happy Valentines Day

I can't believe that it has been over a month since my last post. It has been busy over here and I just haven't been in the mood to do my own blog. We are all moved in and almost totally unpacked. I will fell more content when my decorations are up. Then I will get some pictures of the inside of our house for everyone.
We had a fun Valentines Day full of little traditions that I started with my girls. They all woke up to find their heart boxes full of goodies and an extra special gift this year......TuTu's!!! They were so excited. I found the directions for these online and I thought they would be fun for my girls since they are ALWAYS dressing up and playing ballerinas. They turned out a lot "poofier" than I wanted but I think they are fun. We had pink pop tarts for breakfast and heart sandwiches for lunch. To top it off at dinner we had a heart pizza from Papa Murphy's.
Derek even surprised me with flowers/chocolate/teddy bear delivered at my door!! It reminded me of the good ole' dating days when he used to do that. I think he is getting more romantic with age!!
