This is such a good book! I am posting it and recommending it to all the mothers I know. IT was given to me by a friend in Utah (thanks Jamie S.) and I am so glad she decided to give that gift to me before we moved. First of all it is written so well and the quotes are awesome and inspiring. It's not very long so it is an easy and short read. I was surprised to find out that Jane Clayson is LDS, i didn't know until last year. She does use some mormon references and quotes but it really is a good book for all mothers whether you are LDS or not. I am about to start reading it again because it gave me so much strength and encouragement and I need that again right now. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.
Okay so my picture is not working. The book title is "I am a Mother" by Jane Clayson Johnson. It's a pink cover with a little girls legs wearing her mommies high heels.

Abby Moments

Abby is at a fun age right now. She is always doing little things to make me smile and make all of us laugh. She will come up to me and say "i love you mommy" and i will say "i love you too abby" and then she'll say "i love you too". She loves to say that to her sisters too. She loves to follow her big sisters around but when they try to tell her what to do she doesn't go for that!! She can be feisty too!!
The other night after her bath I was doing a million things and she was running around naked and at one point she brought me her jammies and I said "just a minute", but then totally forgot about it until I walked in the living room and she was asleep on the floor on top of her jammies!!!! I am such an attentive mom (ha ha). It was the cutest thing though. We love our Abby!

My Free Piano

I have told some of you about my free piano. We found it on Craigslist and it was located in South Lake Tahoe which is about 30 minutes from here. It had been in a home that was bought buy the bank and they were trying to get rid of it fast. We got there to pick it up and there were two guys to help Derek put it in his truck. The piano is very pretty, it needs work but it was free and I just really want to have a piano in my home. My wish is that the girls will learn to play better than I did. Bryanna is already excited about taking lessons.
The second part to this story is crazy. I was watching a re-run of Oprah a few weeks after we got the piano and there were the 2 guys that helped us, on her show!!! It was a show about married couples leaving each other because they were gay. So weird!!! It was totally them. Now I can say I knew someone on Oprah, for real!!

Mopping Chalk!!!

I recently bought the girls some sidewalk chalk to keep them enetertained outside since we don't have anything else out there right now. It's been working well, except the other day I came out and they were "mopping" their chalk, with MY MOP!!! No wonder my floors are never clean, the mop is soaked with chalk!!
Of course it was cute too so I had to take a picture. Bryanna and Gracie are so creative!

Happy Valentines Day

We had a fun Valentine's Day . Of course the girls had matching shirts and they opened their heart boxes to find goodies from Mommy and Daddy that morning. We had pink milk in our cereal and heart shaped waffles. For lunch we had heart shaped sandwiches and for dinner a heart shaped pizza with pink cherry 7 up (thanks Jessica). I was surprised in the middle of the day with a beautiful bouquet of roses from Derek. That was very sweet. He received my gift later!!!! Hope all of you had a nice Valentines Day full of lots of LOVE..
Uncle Shawn & Grandma Pam!!

We had some visitors the first of the month. Pam and Shawn came to stay for a few days and visit. It was a nice time. The girls had fun (escept for crabby Abby) and I'm sure Uncle Shawn and Grandma Pam were exhausted . We went bowling and out to lunch and the girls even got a little shopping in. Thanks for the fun weekend!!
I forgot to mention the outfits in the picture. Shawn brought those back from Dubai for himself and the girls. Abby said "he's Jesus"! It was hilarious! The girls look beautiful in their outfits.

Bryanna Lost Her TOOTH!!!

Bryanna had a loose tooth but not for very long!! Her daddy pulled it out with needle nose pliers...AAAAHHHHH!! I couldn't watch or listen. Bryanna didn't cry at all. She was so excited about losing her tooth she wanted to keep it. She didn't want the "Tooth Fairy" to take it, but we convinced her otherwise. Her only request from the "Tooth Fairy" was 1 quarter, 1 dime, 1 nickel and 1 penny. I think we can handle that. We did put in another dollar and she was even more happy when she woke up and found her little tooth baggy full of money to put in her piggy bank. I have to say she is very cute with a missing tooth, but part of me just can't believe that my first baby is losing her baby teeth already. Time goes by so fast!!
