Since I was out of town for Father's Day I am doing a belated post in honor of the Fathers in our lives.

Thank You Dad for being a strong example of hard work and responsibility. For loving my mom and taking care of her. Thank you for being a great grandpa to my girls and for the special things you do with them when we visit. I am grateful to have you for my dad!!

Thank you for playing with them when you get home from work even though you are exhausted. Thank you for being so affectionate and expressing your love to them so much. They are lucky to have you for a daddy and I am lucky to have 3 beautiful girls with you.

Vacation Pictures

When I say "Vacation", I really mean time away from our normal everyday lives in Nevada to visit family and friends in the Pacific NW! We had a great time there and stayed busy most of the time. I do have to say that at the end of 2 weeks I was totally ready to come home to my own house and see my husband. That's one nice thing about going away is that it's actually nice to come back home.

Some of the things we did while we were there:

-Donna's family reunion day

-Spending time with Gramma Pam and Grampa Ian

-Spending time with more cousins on Donna's side

-Went to Omsi with good friends, Jessie and her boys

-Went to Oregon Zoo with Aunt Audrey and cousins

-Donna went to good friend Denene's baby shower

-Donna and Derek had 2 date nights!!!!! One with good friends

-Went to build-a-bear and out to lunch (Thanks Grampa Great!!)
-Took pictures

-Went to Camas library and park with cousins

-Went to park with good friends The Farmers

-Had picnic with Gramma and Grampa Marlatt/Aunt Courtney

-Went to Krispy Kreme--Yummy!!

-Did temple work for Donna's family

-Had lots of fun!!

Our Time in the Northwest!!

Here are some pictures of the girls with their cousins and grammas and grampas. We also attempted family pictures too!! Derek's mom took the girls to Build a Bear last Sat and they had a blast!! It's been fun and we are glad we have had this time with our family and friends!

I'm still here.....just on vacation!

We are in Vancouver Wa. on vacation (family time). I have lots of pictures to post but I keep forgetting to bring my camera cord to Derek's mom's house. Hopefully tonight I will have some pictures.
We are having a nice time seeing family and friends. Derek and I have gone on 2 date nights, in a row!! That doesn't happen a lot for us so it has been awesome. Thanks to Gramma Pam and Grampa Ian.
The girls are having SOOO much fun playing with their cousins and gramma's dog Lucy!! We are having really nice weather too.
Just wanted to send a little update so you knew I was still around. Pictures to come later...

Bryanna's Last day of Kindergarten

Bryanna's 1st Day of Kindergarten

On Wednesday June 4, 2008 was Bryanna's last day of kindergarten. She has grown so much since her first day. She is very smart and loves math and writing. She reads really well and enjoys her friends. Bryanna's favorite things about kindergarten are:

1. Music

2. P.E.

3. Library

4. Computer Lab

Bryanna is very excited for Summer and especially our trip to the NW to visit family and friends.

We look forward to 1st grade and we hope Bryanna will continue her love of learning and making friends!

Sign of a BAD DAY

So this is a sign that Donna had a bad day. I am a diet pop-aholic and I think I need help!! When I am in a bad mood I drink it even more. It is an addictive quality that I really need to stop. HELP! Anyway, I thought it was pretty funny (bad) when I looked above my sink and saw how many I had consumed on Saturday. I really should buy stock from diet pepsi and diet coke ( i normally prefer diet coke but diet pepsi was on sale, can't pass up a sale)!
